Q. Is there a cost implication for me in terms of a fee?
A. Most certainly not. The fee for our service is paid by the Client upon engagement of a candidate.
Q. Is the service confidential?
A. Yes it is. Healthworks will not discuss or forward your details with any client or third party without your express and documented consent.
Your details will be stored on a secure database at Healthworks recruitment.
Q. At what point in the recruitment process do you request references?
A. It is usual practice to request references once a job-offer has been made and accepted by you.
From time to time a client may request a reference in advance of a job offer. However this method would ONLY be undertaken with your documented consent.
Q. Who can supply a reference?
A. If you are currently employed then your direct Line Manager/Director or Human Resources Department should supply the reference.
If not in current employment then we require details of your previous employer as above.
Healthworks require two recent Employer references from senior individuals who can attest to your professional standing.
Q. If offered a position with an employer how long will the process take before I start my new job?
This very much depends upon your work status in the UK. For candidates already working in the UK without restriction it normally takes about 4 weeks.
For those individuals working in the UK requiring work permits it may take up to six weeks.
Start dates can sometimes be delayed due to circumstances with obtaining Criminal Records Bureau clearance and Work Permits, however candidates will always be kept informed.
